Aims & Scope
We invite proposals for Special Sessions on emerging topics in signal and image processing. Link and procedure for submitting your proposal are below. But, first, please read the submission guidelines carefully.
Proposal Submission
Your submission must include an abstract (limited to 2,000 characters) along with some justification (limited to 3,000 characters). The text must include:
- A motivation, including a justification for a presentation at EUSIPCO 2025,
- the expected collective quality and potential impact, and
- the title of the special session topic, a list of committed papers, a list of authors and a short abstract for each paper.
No author or co-author can be on more than one paper in the proposed special session. Only one single overview paper per special session is allowed. In that case, the author and co-author(s) can exceptionally be part of an additional paper in the special session. All accepted papers are required to be presented in person by one or more authors.
Proposal Selection
Special session proposals will be evaluated based on
- the proposed topic;
- the expected impact and quality of the contributed papers;
- the background and diversity of the session organizer(s) and contributing authors.
A special session is expected to address an emerging topic in signal and image processing. The organisers of a special session should indicate in which EURASIP Technical Area Committee (TAC) falls in or is close to. The organisers of the proposed special session may contact the respective Chair of the corresponding TAC to coordinate submission.
Selection of a special session proposal does not guarantee final acceptance of the special session. Papers submitted to special sessions will undergo rigorous review similar to those for regular submissions. Acceptance of papers in a special session is solely based on quality. The Technical Committee will endeavor to schedule a special session as an oral session.
Submission Instructions
Proposal should be sumbitted according to the template downloadable here and sent via e-mail to the Special Session Chairs at specialsessions@eusipco2025.org.
